WASHER IS EATING MY SOCKS

Ever wondered if the washer ate your socks? I removed approximately 8 small socks front this front load washer. The socks entered the tub pump outlet area after being forced between the wash basket and the tub. It's always a good idea to put smaller items in a mesh laundry bag to prevent small items being pushed between basket and tub by larger more bulky items. This is a good idea even for top load machines. Although most front load machines have a catch filter the unit will begin to have problems pumping water out during the drain cycle.
